Swedish Marine Technology Forum is working with environmental and collaboration projects within the leisure boat industry.

Education is another important area, where we are involved to secure and maintain the development in the industry. Swedish Marine Technology Forum work to market the maritime industry to future employees. We are also engaged in the work to improve and adapt professional training at various levels. At the moment we work on organize a University Collage within the vocational training.

We also develop an environmental index for leisure boats. The index is aimed to simplify the choice of boats with low environmental influence level. This project has given spin offs in the innovation area of propulsion development, material, production etc.
